Jewish Suffering through the Ages
The Jewish people have undergone persecution throughout the ages. Whilst in historic times of uneducated peoples anti-Semitism and other forms of racism might be understandable, in todays supposedly educated world it is not. The painting reflects the artists view of Jewish suffering which is heavy in his heart with the knowledge that 64 of his close family were murdered in the Second World War
